‘Good Newwz’ gets tangled-up in IVF controversy

Diljit Dosanjh and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Good Newwz’ has had its release put on-hold due to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a stay on the movie for discrediting IVF centres.

The PIL had been filed in the Karnataka High Court, by an NGO going by the name of ‘Yes Trust’, on the basis of the film misleading people on the effectiveness of IVF centers, since the plot revolves around two couples having difficulty birthing a child through this method.
