A clash of Bollywood movies at the box office is turning into a novelty nowadays, and it appears director Rohit Shetty has chosen to avoid such conflict with the release of his upcoming film ‘Golmaal Again’.
If reports are to be believed, the filmmaker has learnt his lesson after struggling to achieve the desired business from ‘Dilwale’ (2015), in spite of it hailing the return of much loved duo Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol Devgn on screen, due to it’s clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastaani’ (2015).
‘Golmaal Again’, the fourth instalment in Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ series, was set to release for Diwali 2017 which is also allegedly the scheduled release for Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer ‘2.0’.
Notably, Shetty has always released films in the ‘Golmaal’ series on Diwali, however, he is said to be a big fan of superstar Rajnikanth and has chosen to respect the senior actor and bow out of releasing the fourth instalment in time for festive celebrations this time.
