‘Golmaal 4’ before ‘Ram Lakhan’ for Rohit Shetty?

Rohit Shetty

Rohit Shetty’s recent film ‘Dilwale’ (2015) may not have done as well as expected. It seems the filmmaker is now looking to revive old tried and tested territory as reports suggest that he is keen to begin work on ‘Golmaal 4’ before he starts the much anticipated ‘Ram Lakhan’ (1989).

An insider close to Shetty spoke to Absolute India, “It seems Rohit Shetty is keen to start his favourite Golmaal franchise before he starts Ram Lakhan remake. He has finally bought rights of Golmaal from financer Raju Shah last week”.

It seems Shetty was close to locking the deal for a few weeks now, “Rohit is keen to make fourth instalment of his popular franchise Golmaal. However, he was in talks with Shah finally after negotiating the deal has been locked for Rs 8 crores”.

‘Golmaal 4’ is apparently going to commence later this year but Shetty is still yet to complete the script of his contemporary version of ‘Ram Lakhan’.
