Sunny Deol’s ‘Ghayal 2’ has once again run into troubled waters after its writer (screenplay and dialogue) – Piyush Mishra quit the project.
According to Mid-Day, Mishra walked out of the film due to his differences with director Rahul Rawail. He has previously written for films like ‘Ghajini’ (2008) and ‘Agneepath’ (2012).
Mishra confirmed the news, “Yes, I have quit the film. Our sources tell us that the differences between Rawail and Piyush arose when the writer wanted to Sunny to take an active part in contributing to the script and Rawail objected to that.
The first look of ‘Ghayal 2’ was released alongside ‘Ready’ (2011) but reports indicate that the final cut of the movie is still some time away.
Earlier Sunny Deol’s ‘The Man’, which has been in production since 2008 was left incomplete, while his reality TV show on ZEE TV was postponed without any trace. Here’s hoping Deol can finally make a comeback with an action film.
