‘Ghanchakkar’ to feature Vidya Balan’s married name?

Whether an actress adopts her husband’s name after marriage will always be a topic up for discussion in B-town. Vidya Balan is the latest who is currently in the dilemma of whether she should carry on with her maiden name or add on her husband’s surname as part of her professional identity.

A source spoke to Hindustan Times, “Vidya is contemplating to change her surname to Vidya Balan��Roy Kapur. If she decides to do so, Ghanchakkar will be the first film that will see her new surname in the opening credits.” The film is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, her husband.

‘Ghankchakkar’ also stars Emraan Hashmi and is slated for release on 28th June 2013.
