‘Ghanchakkar’ makers accused of plagiarism

With only a few days to go to the worldwide release of ‘Ghanchakkar’, the makers are facing legal issues after plagiarism accusations by Dhirendra Kumar.

Kumar apparently came across the similarities between his script and Rajkumar Gupta�۪s film only after watching its promos on screen recently.

Kumar has filed the complaint with the Film Writer’s Association and sent a legal notice to the production house, seeking a stay order on the film from the High Court.

Kumar told Mid-Day, ���After I registered a complaint with the writers�۪ association, I was asked to appear for a meeting by the dispute settlement committee.�۝ However, at the last minute, Kumar claims he was told that the meeting had been postponed.
