Geo UK to launch Saturday night comedy strand

Geo UK is launching a Saturday night comedy strand, starting this Saturday (3rd October).

The slot, which will be known as the ‘Family Festival’ will include programming which the channel describes as “fun, laughter and exciting treats.”

The channel further adds, “These shows are a path for the viewers to rejoice and enjoy the sunny side of life. The best talent of Pakistan will entertain the audience with exclusively developed shows which include telefilms, long plays, mini serials, sitcoms, talk shows, reality shows and a lot more.”

Family Festival will air Saturdays at 22:00.

The channel is currently riding high on the back of its coverage of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy.
