Geo TV partners up with Asian Style Awards

Geo TV has confirmed it is tying up with this year’s Asian Style Awards (ASA), which launched back in December 2007.

The awards were started up to raise the profile of providers of South Asian related fashion and beauty products and services in the UK. ASA aims to recognise and reward excellence in standards and innovation throughout the industry.

ASA hopes that through the awards we can promote the industry and encourage more ethnic designers, stylists and artists to engage with mainstream stylists and create diverse ranges that can cater for all communities which is an absolute requirement for modern day Britain and would help promote social interaction between cultures.

With the announcement of the UK short lists, the fashion and beauty industry is waiting in anticipation for the star studded awards ceremony which will be taking place at the Alexandra Palace on 1st November 2008, where the winners will be announced and will win the prestigious national award.
