Pakistani news broadcaster Geo Tez has launched on Sky Digital today, replacing sister channel, Aag TV.

Music channel, Aag TV had been a part of the Geo UK Network for many years. With today’s change, the network will primarily concentrate on its news content through flagship channel Geo News and now Geo Tez. Geo UK will continue broadcasting general Pakistani entertainment with news updates as a premium service.

Programmes on Geo Tez include fast and urgent news bulletins including ‘Tez World News Bulletin’, ‘Flavoured Bulletin’, plus crime show ‘Andheri Raatoun Mein’ and ‘Tez Crime’, Bollywood news show ‘B-Tonight’, discussion show ‘Triple 111’ and paranormal show ‘Sssh…Yahan Koi Hai’.

Geo Tez will be a free-to-air news channel on Sky channel 824. It will now directly compete with ARY News, which already broadcasts free. Aaj Tak – the Indian news channel, also broadcasts on the same platform.
