UPDATED: Geo Kahani UK launch details revealed

Geo Network has confirmed the launch of its second entertainment channel for UK/Europe audiences.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , Geo Kahani will accompany the broadcaster’s two existing other channels – Geo TV and Geo News. BizAsiaLive.com can now confirmed that Geo Kahani will replace Geo Tez on Sky channel 817 on Friday 11th August at 18:00. Geo Tez will continue broadcasting until then.

Geo Kahani will primarily focus on serials based on themes not previously covered on Geo TV. The channel will also air an hour strand of content previously shown on sister channel, Geo TV. BizAsiaLive.com understands that Geo Kahani will have its primetime original programming commence at 18:00. A new breakfast show made exclusively for Geo Kahani is also expected to go on-air within days of the channel’s launch.

Geo Kahani launches on Friday 11th August at 10:00 on Sky channel 817.
