Geo Kahani makes official Sky launch in UK

Geo Network has officially replaced Geo Tez, with its second entertainment channel, Geo Kahani today.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , Geo Kahani will primarily focus on serials based on themes not previously covered on Geo TV. The channel will also air an hour strand of content previously shown on sister channel, Geo TV. The channel’s original primetime content will air from 18:00 each night.

Geo Kahani made its launch at 10:00 today with a small ten-second countdown, followed by the channel’s signature track rendered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The first show to air on the channel was ‘Subh Ki Kahani’ – the channel’s new daily breakfast show hosted by Madeeha.

Geo Kahani on EPG 817 will complement sister channel, Geo TV and Geo News on the Sky platform.
