Geo channels set to encrypt on Sky Digital

Geo channels set to encrypt on SkyPakistani broadcaster Geo TV has confirmed it will be encrypting all three of its channels later this month.

Geo Entertainment, Geo News and AAG will be offered collectively as “Geo Package” through a monthly or annual subscription.

Currently all three channels are free to air on Sky Digital but from Monday 23rd June 2008 the channels will only be available to paid subscribers.

Yaser Aziz Khan, General Manager at Geo TV UK and Europe said: “We are confident that the community, whose support has made Geo the top Pakistani Television Network, will continue to support Geo in the weeks and month’s to come and that we will prosper together.”

Subscription prices for the new package are yet to be announced by the broadcaster.
