Gayatri Yadav quits Star India as President of Consumer Strategy & Innovation

Gayatri Yadav, President of Consumer Strategy and Innovation for Star India has decided to move on, ending her eight year long stupendous journey with the media conglomerate.

Yadav played a pivotal role in shaping the marketing function at the network and she will be leaving the network after the completion of the notice period.

Confirming the news, Disney’s spokesperson stated, “Gayatri, who has had a long and fruitful association with Star India, is moving on. We wish her all the best in her new venture.”

Prior to this Yadav had previously worked for General Mills and Procter & Gamble.

Some of the notable marketing campaigns that were created during Yadav’s stint include ‘Nayi Soch’ for its flagship Star Plus channel that made a case for gender equality.

In addition to that several campaigns for Star Sports Network for various Sporting tournaments like IPL, Pro Kabbadi, ISL structured by her amplified the reach of the sporting events among masses. ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign created during Indvs Pak match in ICC Cricket World Cup in 2015 was a blockbuster campaign.

She was also instrumentals in structuring the Star Re-Image awards that rewards the best campaign of the respective IPL season.
