Gautam Rode: “I’m more inclined towards projects which get over in six months”

Gautam Rode is starring in the second season of Star Bharat’s ‘Kaal Bhairav Rahasya’, which will be a limited thriller. Rode says he is more inclined to shows with this limited time span as you get to play more characters , something you don’t get to do in television.

Speaking of the show and choosing roles, Rode told DNA, “This was the perfect show for me to be back on the screen, since it is a mystery thriller — I like the thrill element in it, and since it is a 120 episode series — I like this kind of work, because it is set for a set period of time. Whatever I do, no matter it’s for television, web or the big screen — it should satisfy me as an actor… Like I played Rudra in Mahakumbh, that kind of a character is not very easy to play on television. It was tough, yet very satisfying for me. I am more inclined towards such projects which get over in six months; it is because of the same reason that I have got to play so many characters till now. It is good for an actor since, as you don’t get to play many characters while you’re working in television space being a male, so I am lucky that way.”

Additi Gupta is rumored to be starring with Rode this season.
