Gauri Shinde on what she regrets about ‘Dear Zindagi’

In her second outing as director, Gauri Shinde looked at the relationship between a woman in her 20s and her relationship with her counsellor in ‘Dear Zindagi’ (2016).

According to Bollywood Hungama, Shinde thought that an airplane scene which she had to eventually be cut out from the main film should have been included. The scene is available on YouTube but due to time limitations, Shinde was forced to take the scene out.

The film starred Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan and was appreciated by many when it released last year.
