Gaurav Jandwani to leave Star UK to focus on Hotstar

Gaurav Jandwani will be leaving his position as Senior Vice President & Business Head for Star UK/Europe & South Africa, for a new vacancy to boost Hotstar in various international markets (excluding US/Canada).

BizAsiaLive.com understands that he will be promoted to Business Head – Growth Markets & AVOD, Hotstar International, based in London. As a part of his new role, Jandwani will be responsible for business of Hotstar in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. He will report to Ipsita Dasgupta, President, Group Strategy, Hotstar International & Sports Leagues – Star India. Jandwani joined Star UK in 2017.

The Star UK office will now report directly to Guneet Anand, the Head of International Business, Star TV.

The changes take place from 1st March 2019.
