Gaurav Banerjee replaces NP Singh as CEO at Sony Pictures Networks India
Gaurav Banerjee has been appointed as the new CEO at Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), following NP Singh’s decision to step down after a remarkable 25-year tenure with the company.
Banerjee brings a wealth of experience to his new role at SPNI. He has an extensive background in overseeing content for Hindi entertainment and Disney+ Hotstar, and has served as the business head for Star Bharat. His portfolio also includes managing Hindi and English movies, kids and infotainment channels, as well as regional channels in the east. Banerjee’s diverse experience and strategic vision are expected to drive SPNI forward in the competitive media landscape.
In the UK, Neeraj Arora is stepping down as EVP – Head of International Business at Sony Pictures Networks. Jaideep Jankiraman, who currently is Head – International Business (Americas), will succeed Arora as Head of International Business and Operations.
