Garry Sandhu confirms UK return with Birmingham concert

Popular music sensation, Garry Sandhu has confirmed that he will be returning to the UK after a gap of eight years.

In late 2011 his fans were shocked to learn that he had been arrested and detained by the UK Border Agency for violating immigration laws and overstaying in the country after having had permission to remain refused. After a short legal battle, Garry Sandhu was removed back to India in January 2012.

However, he will return for his first gig in the UK in November, headlining an event by E3UK. The event is organised by one of Britain’s leading Asian entertainment companies, E3UK. It will take place at The Arena Birmingham (formally known as The Barclaycard Arena) on Saturday 2nd November 2019.

Garry Sandhu stated, “I am moulded by my past and although I cannot change things, I have learnt a great deal over the last 10 years. I deeply regret and am remorseful for my past actions, when it comes to my Immigration history in the UK. Staying within the remit and boundaries of the law is something every upstanding citizen should do. I am grateful to all my fans and the UK Immigration services/Home Office for allowing me the opportunity to return back to the UK.”

Sandhu has witnessed immense success recnetly with his independent singles, sold-out tours outside the UK and his track “Hauli Hauli” being picked up by the makers of film ‘De De Pyaar De’.
