Gangubai Kathiawadi’s son files case against Bhansali Productions & Alia Bhatt

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ was one film which went back on the floors when films shoots re-commenced. However, the filmmaker, Alia Bhatt and others in the crew have had a case filed against them by Gangubai Kathiawadi’s son who is seeking for a stop to the production.
Babuji Rawji Shah is believed also to filed a case against Hussain Zaidi, author of the novel ‘The Mafia Queens of Mumbai’ which is about the same brothel that the film’s based on. Shah has said that the film is defamatory and an infringement upon his right to privacy, self-respect and liberty, according to Hindustan Times.
The film will be Bhatt’s first with Bhansali.
