Gagan Grewal fronts new Asian show across local BBC radio stations

Gagan Grewal will front a new weekly show on local BBC radio stations, starting today.

‘Desi UK’ will air across BBC Radio WM, BBC CWR, BBC Radio Shropshire, BBC Stoke and BBC Hereford and Worcester. It will broadcast every Monday at 19:00.

The show will champion British Asian culture with stories and issues affecting local Asian communities.

The changes are a part of the BBC’s plans to streamline regional BBC local radio services to save money.
