‘Gadar’ sequel announcement expected?

A while ago, rumours of an upcoming sequel of ‘Gadar’ (2001) were quite strong but they soon died down. However, it seems that Anil Sharma is reportedly working on a second and an announcement could come soon.

According to a report in Box Office Worldwide, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are set to reprise their roles. It’s thought that Sharma’s son Utkarsh will reportedly be seen playing the son of Deol and Patel’s characters in the second instalment.

It will certainly be interesting to take this story into the modern day and official confirmation should be coming soon.
