Salman Khan’s version of Jag Ghoomeya from ‘Sultan’ was released after the Rahat Fateh Ali Khan version came out. Now, in an out of the ordinary move, it seems the actor is lending his vocals to the film’s entire soundtrack.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Salman had made no plans to record any song that the composers made for the film. It was a last-minute idea. It۪s just his mood one day he felt like recording the song Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai and he did it. In fact, he even changed the song۪s lyrics from the original Baby Nu۪ to Baby Ko۪ to make it his own take on the song, which has been received well. For the next song, Jag Ghumiya, he recorded his own version and also posted it on his social media accounts. And if that wasn۪t enough, he has now even sung his version of the song 440 Volt”.

The soundtrack marks Vishal-Shekhar’s comeback to the Yash Raj Films banner and it has been appreciated by most. The source further added, “The entire album is out, but there are three more video songs that are yet to be released. Salman was heard discussing the possibility of singing those as well. Singing the earlier songs was not planned and was impromptu. In between his schedule, he wants to spare more time to sing the other songs as well”.

Khan has lent his voice to a number of songs in the past but this is the first even for him.

‘Sultan’ also stars Anushka Sharma and is slated for release at Eid next month.
