Freida Pinto turns producer

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star Freida Pinto is set to turn producer with two women-centric films.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the actress was overheard talking about her plans over a private dinner. The actress has produced a documentary by the same name which focuses on women’s education in the country.

She was heard saying that she will be working on two other films – mainstream English films and will release widely across India.

“As expected, both will be strong, women-centric stories. The first one is expected to roll in March 2015,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
