Four filmmakers unite for new film on Netflix

Four Bollywood filmmakers including Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dikabar Banerjee are uniting for a Netflix production.

The film titled ‘Lust Stories’ will be released in June. The four directors had previously collaborated for anthology film ‘Bombay Talkies’ (2013).

‘Lust Stories’ consists of big Bollywood names including stars Radhika Apte, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani and Neha Dhupia. Kaushal, Advani and Dhupia will feature in Johar’s short film, while Koirala is a part of Banerjee’s short film. Apte is reportedly a part of Kashyap’s short film.

Netflix also commissioned the Indian film ‘Love Per Square Foot’, which was helmed by Ronnie Screwvala’s production company, RSVP.
