Former Sunrise presenter joins Panjab Radio

Former Sunrise Radio presenter ‘The Bossman’ will be joining popular station Panjab Radio from this Friday (17th November).

He will taking over the weekly Friday night 20:00 – 22:00 slot. ‘The Bossman۪s’ new position at Panjab Radio will see him working once again with Managing Director Surjit Singh Ghuman, with whom he began his career in the radio industry over 8 years ago.

Surjit Singh Ghuman said, “The Panjab Radio team and I are delighted to welcome The Bossman back into its fold and look forward to a fruitful relationship together.”

The Bossman said, “”I am absolutely delighted to be joining Panjab Radio and am looking forward to returning to the Panjab Radio team who played such a vital role in my broadcasting career. I’m especially looking forward to working with Surjit Ghuman who, in several conversations, has impressed me with an enthusiasm and desire, which matches my own. I spent seven great years at Sunrise Radio and have many special memories but I feel that working with the team at Panjab Radio will provide me with a more fun, professional, and enjoyable platform to do what I enjoy doing best…entertaining my listeners. Panjab Radio is the leading name in Panjabi broadcasting and, being a Panjabi myself, this will enable me to “return to my roots” and start working even more closely with the Panjabi community and the Panjabi artists who are so prominent today.”

‘The Bossman۪s’ return to the station, from his former role of presenter with Sunrise Radio may be seen as the continuing rise and popularity of the Panjab Radio amongst the Asian community in Britain and across the world.
