Former Star TV CEO Peter Mukerjea arrested

Former Star TV CEO, Peter Mukerjea has been arrested in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.

He was taken to the CBI office in South Mumbai by police from his Worli residence this evening.

Mukerjea is the fourth accused in the case so far. His wife, Indrani Mukherjee has been in custody since August. Times Of India reports that Bora was allegedly murdered by her mother, Indrani’s former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyamvar Rai here in April 2012 and her body was dumped in a forest in the neighbouring Raigad district. Rai allegedly spilled the beans while he was being interrogated in a different case.
