Hardeep Singh Kohli has been arrested and charged in connection with “non-recent” sexual offences.
Born to Indian Punjabi parents in London and raised in Glasgow, the comedian who has worked for the BBC and other broadcasters has been released and is due to appear in court at a later date, police confirmed.

The police statement added: “A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with allegations of non-recent sexual offences,” the force said. “He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date. A report of the circumstances has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
