Former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta arrested in TRP scam

Former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta has been arrested by Mumbai Police in the ongoing TRP scam.

He is expected to be produced before the ACMM 37th Court on 25th December 2020.

Dasgupta is the 15th arrest after Romil Ramgarhia, who was released from jail on Friday. Republic Media Network CEO Vikas Khanchandani was arrested previously.

Reports say that police found Whatsapp chats between Ramgarhia and Khanchandani indicating manipulation in viewership data.
