Foodxp begins testing on Sky ahead of Sky launch

The UK’s first Hindi food and lifestyle channel, Foodxp has begun testing on the Sky platform, ahead of its official launch in August.

As revealed on BizAsiaLive.com last weekend, Foodxp will be handled by World Media Connect in the UK. The channel boasts of original programming featuring some of the biggest Indian chefs. It launches on Thursday 1st August on Sky channel 712.

Some of the shows confirmed for launch are:

Fuse It with Mirvaan

Thali The Great Indian Meal

Tests of Foodxp on Sky can be seen here:
-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.582 (H), FEC: 5/6, SR: 22000 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “52104” service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “52104” to view the channel
