Alia Bhatt’s comeback to ZEE Cine Awards after five years
Alia fans have a mega treat in store for fans as the superstar makes an impressive comeback to the awards after a hiatus of five years with a spirited act to her most popular tracks ‘Kesariya’, ‘Nacho Nacho’ and ‘Dholida’. Alia mentioned, “I am performing almost after 4+ years actually. And coincidently the last time I performed was at Zee Cine Awards itself, so it’s like coming back home. I was quite nervous as I was doing a stage act after a very long time, but the love and energy from the crowd made it a little easier for me.”

Shahid Kapoor celebrates 20th anniversary
Shahid Kapoor marks two decades in the Indian film industry with a power-packed performance to some of his famous songs like ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’, ‘Gandi Baat’, ‘Shaam Shaandaar’, and many more. Shahid mentioned, “Back in the days, I lived in Andheri, I had no clue about any big designers. I used to feel that I don’t have good clothes to attend such award functions. But now, when I look at myself, I feel it wasn’t so bad. These are the best moments of your life and when you look back, you see how you were when you started. It reminds you of your journey in life, about how much has happened. I will always be thankful, grateful and blessed to be doing this for 20 years. I am thankful to each and every one from the fraternity and to everybody who has watched and appreciated my work.”

Rashmika Mandanna’s sizzling performance
Rashmika Mandanna sets the stage on fire as she grooves to popular hits like ‘Srivalli’, ‘Mind Block’, ‘Ranjithame’ and ‘Saami Saami’. Rashmika said, “This was the first time I attended the Zee Cine Awards and It was so much fun hosting a part of the show and I came home with a lot of memories and fun moments. It was truly a special night, especially with the love that I got from the audience.”

Fresh hosts – Ayushmann Khurrana & Aparshakti Khurana
For the first time, brothers Ayushmann and Aparshakti come together to host a major awards ceremony. Their banter with the performers and award winners will be have a fresh approach.

Varun Dhawan steals hearts with “howling” performance
The ‘Bhediya’ star will set the stage on fire with a power-packed act to some of his iconic songs like – ‘Mirchi Lagi Toh’, ‘Palat- Tera Hero Idhar Hai’, ‘Thumkeshwari’, ‘Apna Bana Le’, ‘Jungle Mein Kaand’ and ‘The Punjaabban Song’. He also joins host Ayushmann Khurrana on stage as he had a special present for the new parents of B-Town, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Varun rewrote the lyrics of Kesariya in a humorous manner, bringing to life Alia’s struggles with her new-born as a mommy and it had not just Alia but the entire crowd in splits. While it was Varun who wrote the lyrics, it was sung for Alia by the host of the evening, actor–singer Ayushmann Khurrana.
