First UK Asian TV awards to take place next year

The first UK Asian television awards will take place next year, BizAsia.co.ukcan reveal.

Whilst we await full details, the awards will be the first of their kind to celebrate UK Asian media, plus local talent.

BizAsia.co.uk understands that Star TV will play an integral part in the awards however the broadcaster is currently remaining tightlipped on any involvement.

Usually Asian TV channels syndicate such award ceremonies held in India.

The UK Asian Television Awards will take place on Saturday 26th February 2011 at the Hilton, Park Lane, London.
