First suspect in Sidhu Moose Wala’s death arrested

The first arrest in singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s death has been made, on the day of his funeral.

According to reports, the accused named Manpreet from Uttarakhand, was among six people detained by police on Monday. Mandeep has been set to custody for five days.

Sidhu was shot dead on Sunday in Punjab’s Mansa district. The Aam Aadmi Party, which governs the Punjab state, has launched an investigation into his death after coming under fire for scaling down the singer’s security.
