FIR filed against Sonu Nigam after azaan tweets

Sonu Nigam has faced a backlash after he tweeted that he was waking up to azaan even though he wasn’t Muslim. He even clarified that his statement was against loudspeakers and not against any particular religion. However, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that an FIR has been lodged against him.

Bollywood Life reports that the FIR was launched in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. An official copy of the document has also been released.
