Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are all set to rock the big screen for the first time together in the forthcoming ‘Finding Fanny’. However, in a very unheard of move, it seems the movie will be premiered 17 days before its official release date.
Producer Dinesh Vijan elaborated, according to TOI, “Premiering a film two weeks before its release has never been done before in Bollywood, but we are willing to stick our necks out. We want opinion makers and regular moviegoers to share their views. Hope this strategy generates an actively interested forum for Finding Fanny”.
“A story this strong deserves a unique marketing approach. So, we are inverting the normal course of promotional campaigns and will commence ours with the premiere of the film,” explained Shikha Kapur, Chief Marketing Officer, Fox Star Studios.
The film’s official release date is 12th September and the first trailer has received a very positive response. The film will be releasing in both Hindi and English.
