Financial issues halt Bangla TV transmission in UK?

Bangla TV is reportedly embroiled in controversy with allegations that the channel is facing financial issues.

According to Dhaka Tribune, 100 staff members from Bangla TV protested over outstanding salaries on Thursday, which have accumulated to three months. It is not yet clear if this is the reason why the Bangla TV service in the UK has been removed from Sky channel 821.

The channel went off air in the UK last month but no official reason has been given for its abrupt disappearance.
