Filmmakers give Amrita Rao the ‘unprofessional’ tag

When the filmmakers of the upcoming film ‘Wah Taj’ got the nod from Amrita Rao to do the film, they were not expecting her to refuse via social networking site, Twitter.

Director Ajit Sinha, who will be making his debut with the film, approached Rao for the lead female role opposite Shreyas Talpade. As Hindustan Times reported, when she gave the nod, stating that the film sounded exciting and that she was looking forward to working with Talpade again after ‘Welcome to Sajjanpur’ (2008), the filmmakers hopes were set on a high.

However, later Rao was found tweeting that she wasn’t doing the film. Outraged, the filmmakers roped in ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ (2008) actress Manjari Phadnis to replace Rao. “Yes, Manjari will star opposite Shreyas. It was quite unprofessional on Amrita�۪s part to have backed out,” producer Narendra Singh confirmed.
