Filmmakers Champak Jain & Raju Mavani pass away

There have been two deaths in Bollywood today, firstly director Raju Mavani passed away, which was then followed by the demise of producer, Champak Jain – the brother of Ratan Jain, who owns Venus.

Mavani is said to have died suffering from kidney failure. He was known for films like ‘Ram Aur Shyam’ (1996), ‘Surakshaa’ (1995) and ‘Intehaan’ (1994).

Jain was famously known for 90s films like ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ (1994) and ‘Josh’ (2000). The death has taken everyone by surprise as there was no news of him being unwell previously. It is said that he suffered brain haemorrhage.
