Filmfare Awards & ‘Omkara’ in February on Sony

With the awards season in full swing, Sony Entertainment Televison Asia will exclusively be airing the much awaited Filmfare Awards, next month.

The Filmfare Awards have been described as the equivalent to the Hollywood Oscars. Organisers are yet to announce the itinerary of this year’s event.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia will screen the awards delayed live on the same day the event takes place – Sunday 25th February at 20:00.

Not only that, the repeatedly nominated and acclaimed movie ‘Omkara’ will premiere on the channel.

The film stars Ajay Devgan, Viveik Oberoi, Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor. The film won its first lot of awards at the STAR Screen Awards earlier this month.

‘Omkara’ will air on Sony Entertainment Television Asia on Sunday 18th February at 20:00.
