Filmfare Awards 2025: ‘Laapataa Ladies’ dominates with 13 gongs
The Filmfare Awards 2025 proved to be a triumphant night for Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, whose critically acclaimed film ‘Laapataa Ladies’ swept the ceremony with an impressive 13 awards, including Best Film and Best Director.
Following closely was ‘Kill’, produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, and Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, which bagged six awards, cementing its place as one of the year’s most talked-about action thrillers.
The event was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, marking his return to the Filmfare stage after 17 years. He was joined by Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul, adding charm and wit to the proceedings.
