Female host for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’?

The last season of the popular ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ was in 2014, hosted by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Although news of whether a new season was upcoming hasn’t really been prevalent, recent reports suggest that the forthcoming season might be hosted by a popular actress.

Talking about this new idea, a source told DNA, “This time, the channel is looking at revamping the show. While the format remains the same, they are planning to have a female host, who is a Bollywood actress. There are very few actresses who can match Amitabh Bachchan’s calibre. The makers have zeroed in on two names — Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Both have been approached and chased aggressively”.

With Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rumoured to be in the running, it certainly seems as if the glam quotient of the show is about to increase.
