Fawad Khan to debut with Sonam Kapoor in ‘Khubsoorat’?

Sonam Kapoor’s remake of ‘Khubsoorat’ (1980) has gone on the floors in the last few days. BizAsia has learnt that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will be seen making his Bollywood debut in the movie.

Khan will be playing the role played in the original by Rakesh Roshan and Kapoor will be stepping into Rekha’s shoes. No doubt this film will put Khan in the limelight and see him grace the big screen after a successful TV career. There was much mystery surrounding who would bag the role of male lead in the film and producer Rhea Kapoor and sister Sonam were adamant that they didn’t want to reveal.

The shooting for the movie has begun in Bikaner and is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
