Fawad Khan set to sign Salman Khan Films’ next?

Last month, BizAsia reported that Fawad Khan was in talks with Salman Khan Films for a film but that it wasn’t for ‘Jugalbandi’. It was reported that the actor had given his nod of Nitin Kakkar’s next directorial which would be produced by the banner. Now, it’s emerged that he is set to sign the same project.

According to Box Office India, a source confirmed, “It�۪s a new-age love story and the production house is in talks with Fawad Khan to play the��lead role. The actor will be coming to Mumbai soon, to finish the last schedule of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and will finalise things then”.

Those close to Khan have also said that he’s excited to be working with the production house for the first time.

Khan was recently applauded for his role in Shakun Batra directed ‘Kapoor and Sons’ (2016).
