Fawad Khan returns to Pakistan after threats from MNS

Contrary to reports, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan exited India today after threats continued against Pakistani stars working in India by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

According to Geo News, Khan was in India to promote his upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ but left India as his wife his about to deliver a baby in September.

The political party had threatened to push out Pakistani artists from India if they did not leave in the 48-hour notice over the weekend.

Tensions between the two countries reached fever pitch recently after the Uri attacks.
