Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan, is excited about making his Bollywood debut with Anil Kapoor and Disney India�۪s ��Khoobsurat�۪.�� The actor says he purposefully chose a rom-com for his Bollywood debut as he thinks it is a safe choice, despite it being woman-centric.
���I don�۪t think it is risky��_ actually it is playing it safe. ��I have been part of women centric stuff in Pakistan. ��I think it is not fair to divide it (films) as women and men centric. ��It (��Khoobsurat�۪) is a classic rom-com. ��As a newcomer, I felt it was better to attempt something safe,� Khan is quoted as having told PTI.
The actor went on to defend his decision of working in India and said, ���As an artist I don�۪t want to stay in one place, I want to grow and explore myself. ��’Khoobsurat’ became an excuse for me to try out something different.�
Khan has previously acted in exceptionally successful television serials in Pakistan, such as: ��Humsafar�۪ and ��Zindagi Gulzar Hai�۪.
Also starring Sonam Kapoor, Kirron Kher and Ratna Pathak Shah, ��Khoobsurat�۪ is slated for release on 19th September.
