Fawad Khan owes success to ‘Humsafar’

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan says that he got lots of attention after the hit TV serial ‘Humsafar’.

Khan, who makes his Bollywood debut with ‘Khoobsurat’ this month said that he was offered many projects after ‘Humsafar’.

Talking on the sets of ZEE TV’s ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’ yesterday, he said, “‘Humsafar’ is the reason why I got a lot of work. People liked it and I hope here also the audience will like the show.”

Asked if he was giving up his television career for films, he told India Today, “Right now I want to continue in cinema, it is a learning experience for me. But if I have to, then I would go back to TV some day. But for now, I want to do cinema.”
