Fawad Khan original choice for ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’

Looks like the makers of the upcoming romantic-comedy ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ were initially planning to cast Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan over Abhay Deol to play the character of Bilal, a Pakistani man in the movie.

Producer Krishika Lulla said that they did consider Khan for the role originally but he was unable to accommodate due to date issues. Ultimately, the role went to Deol, who fell in love with the script.

She��claimed that while most cross-border films are hard-hitting, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ will be the opposite with a “refreshing” approach.

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ set to release on 19th August,��is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz and it also stars Ali Fazal and Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh.
