Fawad Khan left ‘Battle Of Bittora’ due to “date issues”

A lot has been written about Fawad Khan’s exit from ‘Battle Of Bitorra’ and its finally been confirmed that the problem was down to the old excuse “date issues”.

Talking at an event recently, Fawad was cited by IANS saying, “The biggest hurdle was the timelines which couldn’t coincide. Sonam was busy in her own projects. Rhea (Kapoor) is working on another pet project called ‘Saat Hindustani’. Amidst all this, even I got involved with some work. Rest everything is all conjecture.”

Recently, it was reported that the actor had walked out of the project due to certain lovemaking scenes he had objected with actress, Sonam Kapoor.

Asked whether rejecting the film has caused any issues with Anil Kapoor and his family, who gave Fawad his Bollywood break with ‘Khoobsurat’, he said, “I never rejected the film. We still enjoy a good rapport, friendship and conversation. I have all the love and respect for Anil sahab and the whole Kapoor family. And I’d love to work with them whenever the opportunity comes next.”
