Being highly impressed with India’s filmmaking skills, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who is all geared up to mark his Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Khoobsurat’, feels that working in Mumbai is like an educative experience for him as he feels India has mastered the art of filmmaking.

“The amount of experience that India has in filmmaking, for me it is an education to understand how systems work because we are re-propping our industry and it would be a valuable contribution,” the actor told IANS.

“They (Indian filmmakers) have mastered the craft to the extent that they have won over a global audience. I am actually able to take back a certain form of education. For me, it is more importantly an educative experience when it comes to filmmaking and I would like to incorporate that in some way or the other back at home as well,” he said.

‘Khoobsurat’ is being produced by Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor and has been helmed by director Shashanka Ghosh.

The film also features Kirron Kher and Ratna Pathak Shah in leading characters. It is scheduled to hit theatres on 19th September.
