Fawad Khan: ‘I don’t know why people think that I was a model’

Fawad Khan, superstar of ‘Khoobsurat'(2014) made headlines as joint show-stopper, alongside Deepika Padukone, for Manisha Malhotra’s fashion show at Day 1 of the FDCI India Couture Week 2016 which took place in Delhi. Whilst walking the ramp, the star was greeted by much cheering and encouragement amongst the cars as he approached the paparazzi for photographs. Once the show had ended the Pakistani actor was welcomed by fans backstage to get a closer look of the popular superstar, who was overwhelmed by the support.

According to reports by the Times of India, Khan commented saying “��I have walked the ramp for the first time in India and it was quite a daunting task. I don’t know why people think that I was a model, but the fact is that I have never walked the ramp, so before doing this, I was really nervous.”

The ‘Kapoor and Sons'(2016) lead actor also expressed his desire to��go on and adventure around��the capital city as it reminded him of home in Pakistan. Khan added, “I haven’t had a chance to just got out and see Delhi in the way I would like to, but I am planning to do that soon. Delhi reminds me alot of Lahore and I want to explore it in a certain way.”
