Fashion designer Wendell Rodricks passes away

Celebrity fashion designer, Wendell Rodricks has passed away at the age of 59 at his Goa residence.

Rodricks was an author, as well as an activist for social causes and gay rights. He also received a Padma Shri in 2014, the fourth highest civilian award.

Politician Vishwajit Pratapsingh Rane expressed his sadness at the news. He took to Twitter with the following message, “Deeply saddened to hear about the sudden demise of my very good friend and designer, Wendell Rodricks. His excellency in his work & skills are irreplaceable & shall always be cherished. We will truly miss him. My heartfelt condolences to his family & dear ones.”
